Your privacy matters
Reaching out after a loss takes trust. This page explains, plainly, what happens to anything you share with Survivors of Suicide Loss–New Hampshire (SOSL-NH).
SOSL-NH is a peer-support community, not a crisis or medical service. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), available 24/7.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us through our contact form: your name, email address, an optional phone number, the topic you select, and your message. You do not need to create an account, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
How we use it
We use your information solely to respond to you and to help connect you with support. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it except as needed to reply to you.
How the contact form works
When you press “Send message,” your entry is sent over an encrypted connection to a small program we run on Cloudflare — the same company that provides this site’s hosting network and DNS. That program does one thing: it passes your message straight to our email inbox using Cloudflare’s email routing. Your message is not saved on this website, and it is not handled by any third-party form or marketing service. From there it sits in our email account like any other message, and we treat it with the care described above.
Website analytics
To understand how this site is used (for example, which pages people visit most), we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not collect any personal information or build a profile of you. It only counts aggregate visits, so we can keep improving the site.
Confidentiality in our groups
What is shared in a support group stays in the group. We ask everyone who attends to honor one another's confidentiality, so that every person can feel safe to share at their own pace.
Our Facebook page
If you connect with us through our Facebook page, anything you post there is also subject to Facebook's own privacy policy and settings.
Keeping and removing your information
We keep messages only as long as needed to support you. You can ask us to delete your information at any time. Just let us know through the contact form.
